Meet Our Team
One Team. One Philosophy.
Meet the compassionate professionals behind Skill Point Therapy. Our collaborative team of occupational therapists, speech-language pathologists, physical therapists, therapy assistants, and administrative staff provides relationship-based, whole-child care to families throughout Tampa, Brandon, and the greater Tampa Bay area.
Although each team member brings their own experience and expertise, we share one philosophy: meet children and families where they are, understand each child’s individual differences, build meaningful relationships, and support development through connection and play. Our therapists work closely together to provide coordinated, whole-child care — and our team keeps growing as we welcome new clinicians who share that commitment.
Leadership Team

Nicole Bilodeau, MOT, OTR/L
Founder & Pediatric Occupational Therapist
DIRFloortime® Advanced Certificate (DIR-Advanced)
View Bio
Nicole has been an occupational therapist since 2001 and earned her Master of Occupational Therapy degree from Nova Southeastern University. She began her career working with adults in rehabilitation settings before discovering her true passion: working with children and their families.
As a mother of five through both birth and adoption, and a homeschooling parent since 2010, Nicole has seen firsthand that every child’s journey is unique. These experiences shaped her philosophy and naturally led her to the DIRFloortime® model of care.
In 2020, Nicole founded Skill Point Therapy to create a practice where children are seen as individuals, families feel genuinely supported, and therapists have the time and freedom to build meaningful relationships that foster lasting growth.
Areas of Focus: DIRFloortime® (DIR-Advanced), Autism, sensory processing, ADHD, emotional regulation, executive functioning, feeding therapy, fine motor development and handwriting, parent/caregiver coaching, and support for foster, adoptive, and homeschooling families.
